Decided to part my fur down the left side

Do you see it? It's a subtle part there on the left side...okay maybe very subtle but it's there.

You're not buying this parting-of-fur thing are you?

Okay, I confess, I couldn't think of anything else to get your attention. But now that I have you here, purrhaps you may have noticed my new look? It's my blog - it has the new look! If you like it, thank you, I did it all by myself! If you don't like it, well then blame "her".

Either way, we can all blame "her" for starting the whole change thing. Seems spring cleaning and fluffing started early this year...no doubt prompted by the warmer temperatures we HAD and the flowers that WERE blooming.....yes, it is COLD now. A chilly 21 degrees at night and 32 in the day! Anyway, what was I saying....oh yeah, spring cleaning in the winter....

I suppose we all get a bit stir crazy by February. Purrsonally, I think "she" takes it to a new level. Most of you probably clean until even the Q-tips have all been used up (getting into cracks in the floor tile, etc). Well around here, the mop is dry and the Q-tips are only being used in Dad's ears.

Okay, I'll admit though, that two weeks ago was a different story. Dad finally gave "her" the go ahead to change up the living room. "She" claims that is where it all started.

Move one thing from the studio and then another and another. And of course as "she" moves everything it gets cleaned, where it sat gets cleaned, and where ever it is going to sit gets cleaned....oh heck, it ALL ends up cleaned.

But two weeks later, only three rooms have been touched.

Notice I didn't claim that they had all been cleaned to the Q-tip level, just "touched".

There's a reason.

"She's not done yet."

So maybe before the month is done, I'll be able to show you more than these pictures of changes in the studio. I hope to be able to show you what the living room looks like now. And yes, I'll even see if I can't find a 'before' picture too. It all happened so fast, I didn't think to take a picture. I was too busy worrying about getting stepped on or run over. You do NOT want to get in "her" way when the creating and moving and decorating starts....oh it can be worse than flying monkeys. Or so I'm thinking because I've never really met a flying monkey....

Anyway, you're probably wondering how the new blog design got done with all that craziness. Well, I had to think of something to do and Dad's office was the purrfect place to get away from "her". Unfortunately, I didn't get away quick enough to avoid getting the "let's make it new" virus ;) Ah well, the change will do me good....

Sure hope my bed is still in the same spot....

Romeo you are one talented dude! Charlie and I really love the new header but now Charlie wants to know why HE isn't on my header...do I feel a re-design coming my way?? Glad you escaped being swept away by the cleaning and changing bug. We've had it here a little bit but no Qtips in sight. Big purry hugs, Linda & Charlie

The first thing I noticed was your new header and what a "purrrrty boy" we see up there. "Her" and I? A lot alike! When this gal gets on a roll batten the hatches and glue the lock closed and step back outta the way!

Purrrsonally, I can't wait to see what "SHE" has been up to! xo Diana

Romeo,

I like what you've done with the place! My mom is in Gone With the Wind mode sewing things so she looks like that SCarlett character-it's craziness. I had to post for her again and forbid anymore of that Scarlett madness she seems to suffer from. My mom had some spring fever too when the temps were in the 70's but now that they have dropped to the 50's and 60's she's lost her spring fling. Stay away from that vacuum thing-it's pretty scary!

Purrs and meows,

Kramer

The new header with your picture is just fabulous. "She" is making things so beautiful at your house. I know - a cat has to stay out of the way and usually you kind of like things the way they were. Love the pictures. Diane

Yes I can just make out that subtle (almost non existent) part to the left. You always look good no mater how you part it. Not that I really pay much attention to another guys part - I'm just saying.

Pellie's craft room is just as bad as hers. Never a good place to sit that you don't have to worry about falling off.

Purrs,
Genghis

Oh Romeo, I love seeing your big beautiful face when I come to your blog, such a handsome fellow! I wish that "she" would come to my house and help me clean!
I love all the collections!
I am in Atlanta and went to Kudzo in Decatur! I was wonderful!! I will try and give you a call later on this week when things settle down... xoxo (Happy Valentine's day!) Cindy

...SHE has a gift of decorating! I "ooo'ed & ahh'ed" at all the photos! :o)

...Yeah, our two cats know when the vacuum cleaner comes out - scram! I've been known to chase 'em with it, I'm such a bad kitty mom. *giggle* ;o)

...I also wanted to "thank you" for stopping by & commenting the other day - so sweet & it made my day too. :o)

...Enjoy the clean my feline friend!

...Blessings :o)

Hello Romeo, thank you for visiting my boys yesterday. I think your blog looks chic in black and white and although I didn't see it before the redesign I imagine it was very creative! Be sure to stay clear of all that spring cleaning or you might find yourself, dusted, fluffed and polished to a high shine ;-)

I LOVE your new look & that you did it all yourself...pats on the back girlfriend, it looks AWESOME!!!!
You must be playing in photoshop to make such a cool header, just fabulous.
Oh, & by the way...I like your hair parted on the left side too!! :)

How did I miss this post. I will have to come back and view it on a real screen not my phone. So far I'm drooling over the change. I'm sitting here thinking this place could have used a spring cleaning. Ok I'll stop watching the Sunday morning show and clean the last boxes of Xmas. ..yup u read that right....Xmas. I'm hopeless.

Thanks for inspiring me.

Dear Romeo, you're in the same predicament as the Bohemian Valhalla Clan as the Great Purge & Edit of 2012 is underway! You crack me up... send over some Flying Monkeys, I think I could use some, they could clean and assist with the Make-Under without touching the ground... which I think could work since the ground gets pretty cluttered as the process is in the initial stages! *Winks* Of coarse I LOVE "Her" Style... its so similar to the Re-Styling underway here and what I envision the end results to Hopefully be. Just 'scored' a couple of Victorian Deconstructed By Time Lampshades... the G-Kids are whispering to Grandpa that Gramma just bought "broken" shades... they think I'm nuts... and are probably conspiring to pick out my "Home"... of the Nursing Variety??! *LOL*

Blessings from the Arizona Desert... I've saved your Bookcase Image for Inspiration BTW LOVE it... Dawn... The Bohemian

PS: Also Love the Blog Makeover... the Banner is Beautiful and you look so Handsome with your fur parted on the left. *winks*
