O Christmas Tree

As promised in my previous post ..... (warned you I wasn't done yet) here is another Christmas song for you to hum all through the day.  Since we know it's gonna get stuck in your mind by the end of this post.....

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree!
How are thy branches so tasty?
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
No matter, thy leaves are so tasty!

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Much pleasure doth thou bring me!
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Much catnip should Santa Claws bring me!

For every year the Christmas tree,
Brings to cats joy and glee
when the ornies fall and peeps they scream.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree
Much pleasure doth thou bring me!

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Thy twinklers shine out brightly!
Each bough doth hold its tiny light,
That makes each cat toy to sparkle bright.

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Your twinklers and ornaments are .....
hissstory!

Note: A special thank mew to Matilda for her unwavering cooperation in these pictures.
Events depicted did actually occur and were not staged, but definitely encouraged.

I love your post-you were so good to cooperate Matilda.
Scully & I hardly ever cooperate unless there is something in it for us-I know, we're sassy!

I'm wondering exactly what point 'Anonymous' is making... lol!!

Hehe, love these lyrics! My cat Rosie (now in cat-heaven :) used to take a great interest in the tree every year and would spend many happy hours of the day during the Christmas season snoozing under it!

This is wonderful and the shots of you, especially the last one, are so pretty. I miss my Maxie, especially at Christmas, she loved to sit under the Christmas tree and just look at all the wonder! Occasionally her paw would "accidentally" touch some curly ribbons and she would have a wonderful time. I hope you and "her" both have a wonderful time with your Christmas tree.

Happy New Year!!! I hope your Christmas was wonderful. I love these shots of Matilda. I caught shots of Nigella drinking out of the tree yesterday. Of course my camera wouldn't focus right so I had to resort to using my manual focus. Not sure how they came out. Have been debating showing Christmas photos since most bloggers started in friggin October!!! really

Ok feel a rant coming on so I will wish you much happiness in the new year my friend. ....give Romeo and Matilda a kiss for me..

Dude, just dropped by since it's been some time I've visited. Wondered what you'd been up to lately... now I know. Good job dude. Trees were meant for climbing and scratching, er in my book anyway... not that I'm trying to influence you or anything!
Hope you had a marvelous cat nip filled New Year's Eve?! My parents went to be early, another story for another time... I of course went on patrol as soon as the lights went out... yup, presented them with a brand new mousie for their New Years present! Ya gotta do what ya gotta do, extra treats always welcome!
Later dude,
